A lone boulder amongst the hills of Death Valley. I took this image on my second trip to Death Valley. My favorite part about visiting this part of California are the forever changing layers that are continuously peeling and showing off for us viewers. Even though the temperatures reach over a 120 degrees during the summer, Death Valley is still one of my most favorite landscapes, and if you dare, you might go there during the summer.
This image was taken on 6x7 medium format film and is printed on fine art paper.
Each print is signed, dated, numbered and authenticated.

Marko Knezevic
Marko is a landscape photographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Born in ex-Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 7. Photographs have always held a special place in his heart because they were a way for him to connect to the past. Nowadays, he wanders the trails and landscapes of California, obsessing over the textures and colors that our world provides for us. His hope with the work he creates is to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer, and, hopefully, a sense of inspiration to go out into the wild and explore.
