I photographed this image on an early morning hike on the foothills of Mount Diablo in California. The image was made on 6x7 medium format film and it gives a glimpse of the natural beauty the area evokes. This area is home to a diverse array of trees, including California Oak, obviously, but there is plenty of pine and manzanita scattered across the area. This image is offered in various finishes but my favorite version of this print is definitely on Velvet Fine Art Paper, which has a rough but deep finish. All images are signed, dated, and numbered. .

About The Artist
Marko Knezevic
Marko is a landscape photographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Born in ex-Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 7. Photographs have always held a special place in his heart because they were a way for him to connect to the past. Nowadays, he wanders the trails and landscapes of California, obsessing over the textures and colors that our world provides for us. His hope with the work he creates is to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer, and, hopefully, a sense of inspiration to go out into the wild and explore.
