An image I made on 6x7 medium format film of a unique stone, carved out by time and the tides of the Pacific Ocean. Salt Point is spot my partner and I like to frequent during our camping trips, the area is blanketed by geology that's slowly been peeled away by the force of water and salt. As a haven for nature enthusiasts, Salt Point boasts an abundance of biodiversity, including rare plant species and coastal wildlife. This has been one of my favorite areas along the coast. Continuously evolving and never the same.

About The Artist
Marko Knezevic
Marko is a landscape photographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Born in ex-Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 7. Photographs have always held a special place in his heart because they were a way for him to connect to the past. Nowadays, he wanders the trails and landscapes of California, obsessing over the textures and colors that our world provides for us. His hope with the work he creates is to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer, and, hopefully, a sense of inspiration to go out into the wild and explore.
