Salt Point is a sort bay or inlet with a trail that runs atop a plateau. The inlet itself has a strong shore line that rips away at beach over and over. The sound itself is actually really cool. From this constant pulling away by the ocean you get the most beautiful rocks and shapes. My partner camp quite often along this area and I love coming back to Salt Point to see what new shapes and forms the ocean and the wind have formed. This particular formation astounded me as it was located directly on the beach waiting to be submerged by the rising tide. For a moment I was able to capture the oceans beautiful work, almost a honey comb like pattern.
This image was taken on 6x7 medium format film and is printed on fine art paper.
Each print is signed, dated, numbered and authenticated.

About The Artist
Marko Knezevic
Marko is a landscape photographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Born in ex-Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 7. Photographs have always held a special place in his heart because they were a way for him to connect to the past. Nowadays, he wanders the trails and landscapes of California, obsessing over the textures and colors that our world provides for us. His hope with the work he creates is to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer, and, hopefully, a sense of inspiration to go out into the wild and explore.
