Salt Point is spot my partner and I like to frequent during our camping trips, the area is blanketed by geology that's slowly been peeled away by the force of water and salt. I took this particular image just off the trail outside of the bay, a sort of display of algae build up from the relentless ocean spray. Salt Point has an endless display of nature effortless ways of making art for us. I love coming here because the old always turns into something new here.
This image was taken on 6x7 medium format film and is printed on fine art paper.

About The Artist
Marko Knezevic
Marko is a landscape photographer based out of San Francisco, CA. Born in ex-Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Phoenix, AZ, at the age of 7. Photographs have always held a special place in his heart because they were a way for him to connect to the past. Nowadays, he wanders the trails and landscapes of California, obsessing over the textures and colors that our world provides for us. His hope with the work he creates is to bring a sense of peace and calm to the viewer, and, hopefully, a sense of inspiration to go out into the wild and explore.
